The purpose of the Dogwood Elementary PTO is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Dogwood Elementary.

 

We endeavor to:

 

✔ Put on family-friendly events all year long

✔ Allow families to connect and provide access to a PTO member directory

✔ Provide ongoing support for our teachers and staff

 

Your support of the PTO through annual membership and fundraising enables us to provide needed resources and support for Dogwood faculty, staff and students throughout the year.

 

Members of Dogwood PTO are those families, community members and staff members who are associated with Dogwood Elementary School. All families and staff members are encouraged to participate in PTO activities throughout the year, and to attend monthly meetings when able. The PTO Board represents the membership and is composed of PTO members who are either elected or appointed to Board positions.   

 

The Board meets on a monthly basis throughout the school year and Board members, along with other appointed PTO members, manage the organizational and financial aspects of all the PTO functions.

 

The PTO operates on an annual budget. The money used to sponsor PTO activities is raised through PTO annual fundraising events.
